Dark Duet: A Get Together for a Farewell!

Its been nearly a month since the boys left for SAM. With the Help of our friends at Cadbury and Sula we threw a Dark Duet Party for their farewell. Musicians and friends were called for the “small” party we threw at JJ’s Place.

The Mumbai Rains proved to be quite the downer at first but when the guests arrived, the Jam began! Members from different bands just got together on the small jam pad created for the night. Along with the rain, the music and wine poured throughout the night. With great Music we had great wine (Dindori Reserve) paired with Cadbury Bournville which made the evening even more special.

Being a Parsi Dominated Band, the food was Awesome Dhansak!! We all chowed down on the brilliant Parsi Spread! We finished of the meal with some really good Sula Late Harvest Chenin Blanc. The night was far from over! The music went on till 5 in the morning. What a better way to end the night (or start the morning) than with some Fine Champagne!

The boys had a great farewell and the musicians community had a reason to get together, talk, Jam and enjoy a fine pairing of wine and chocolate!

We look forward for such occasions being organized by musicians, for musicians and of the musicians! (Time to go to the election office!)
